TWEAKS & TRICKS:

  • Problem: Game window smaller than expected in 1440p despite screen resolution.

  • Solution: gamescope -H 1440 gamescope %command%

  • Problem: Noticeable micro stutters and low .1% FPS, even with only ray traced reflections enabled.

  • Solution: LD_PRELOAD="" PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 mangohud gamescope -H 1440 -f --force-grab-cursor -- %command%

  • Problem: Performance boost switching to Windows, especially with Ray Traced Reflections.

  • Note: User observed 100+ FPS average in 1440p Ultra FSR4 Quality without ray tracing, dropping to 70-90 FPS with Ray Traced Reflections.
