• Problem: The game fails to launch directly via Steam due to compatibility issues with the EA App and anti-cheat detection.
• Solution: Install the EA App through Lutris or a non-Steam game installer. Then, download and attempt to launch the game from within the EA App. Note that the game still reports “Steam Deck and Wine are not supported,” and may not launch successfully.

Verdict Currently, this title is not recommended for Linux gamers. The anti-cheat system and EA App integration prevent successful launching, even with alternative installation methods.
