TWEAKS & TRICKS

• Launcher Freeze on Startup:
  • Problem: The game launcher may freeze upon startup.
  • Solution: SteamDeck=1 %command%
• DLSS Issues:
  • Problem: DLSS causes significant performance degradation and memory leaks, potentially resulting in being kicked for low FPS.
  • Solution: Avoid using DLSS. Use FSR instead.
• Initial Boot Issues:
  • Problem: Difficulties booting the game, particularly with certain Linux distributions.
  • Solution: Disable esync and FreeSync.
• Prefix Conflicts (Previous Installations):
  • Problem: Previous installations can cause booting issues.
  • Solution: Delete the game prefix located in ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/304390 (path may vary depending on your Steam library location).
• Proton Version:
  • Problem: Proton Experimental is not recommended.
  • Solution: Use GE-Proton.
• Slow Launch Time:
